It looks like perhaps part of the charge port cover broke off and is stuck in the charge port

Does the cap lock in like the plug does or is it just a push fit?

Looks like a push fit from this photo, I'm thinking the black plastic tube part of the cover is broke off inside.
Should be easy to get out, not sure, but @Chaddman123 you may have to push up on the little metal tab that is sticking out at the bottom in your photo.

Yes that is just what I was thinking. I have the gen one so not familiar with this, chaddman123 pm'd me so trying to help
