What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

I like that you are getting your bike way earlier so you can wring it's neck and give us some good feedback/ride reports. And give feedback to Stark, I assume, so they can make refinements as needed, which will be good for all of us down the line. You are the only one I've heard of that is getting a preorder bike before the dealerships get their bikes. Then, the rest of us that preordered get our bikes after the dealerships get in their orders.

I ordered within the couple hours of them opening the website for orders and that estimated delivery is September 2023. Late August and September seem to be typical for those that ordered within the first few hours. I've not heard of any other preorders with estimate dates before the dealerships so your delivery date, that is 5+ months earlier than other preorders, is definitely atypical and presumably a special agreement, but that deal benefits all of us on the forum with much earlier ride reports.

It does suck. They are a victim of their own success. They expected to build a boutique bike and sell a few thousand, the overwhelming response caught them off guard and they realized the needed to produce 20k in the 1st year and that made more sense to switch from a internet purchase shipped to your home to a dealer network to support the volume.

Absolutely makes more sense for them just wish they had honored the orders in the order they were received. They did offer my local dealer to take delivery and set the bike up for me at Starks expense during my phone call.

Just received an email that production is on schedule and the first bikes are shipping next week.

It would be nice to see Stark meet or exceed the new delivery expectations

Yes, saw the Newsletter. That contradicts the other rumor that was spreading where someone reported that Start told their dealership they would not be getting dealership bikes until 2024 and preorders in 20254 or 2025. Guess the newsletter puts a damper on that rumor, or there were other factors not shared/considered or misinterpreted from that dealership conversation. Of course, the Newsletter implies that order delivery is on track, but all it really says is the following, which doesn't mean that preorders or dealership dates won't move. Simply that SOME production bikes will start to be produced. And the second sentence isn't a complete sentence, has random capitalization, and seems to have been sent while in mid edit ("...bikes on target to be on track..."). Ha.

Maybe the production bikes are literally going to be on a track somewhere. I mean, it is their natural environment after all.

Maybe they will let the young bikelings frolic blissfully in the loamy confines of the paddock area with their litter mates before being cruelly separated and sent off to their forever homes. I am sure it will take a few weeks to wean them from the nourishing electrons of their mother generator before they are strong enough to survive the rigors of the shipping crate migration to the racing lands far abroad. These things take time, and consideration should be held for their well-being at such a tender age. They will grow up and race on their own soon enough.

That is the worst written, least enthusiastic announcement of production starting on what could arguably be one of the most anticipated dirt bikes ever.

At least I think it says production is starting next week. Hard to tell exactly. You would think they would have wanted to really nail such an important announcement.

From chapter 3.2 of the terms:
Before any scheduled delivery, you will receive an email or other notice from the Company with instructions on how to complete the remaining payment for the Product (and we will attempt to send such email to you at least 2 weeks before any scheduled delivery). If payment is not provided within 48 hours of receiving such email, your order will be cancelled unless we consent otherwise.

And on my invoice, the expected delivery date is September 30, "Due date" is September 20.
So I guess that's theoretically when the $$ will be due.

We really need a betting pool along the lines of the NCAA's, Lol.

My money is on customer #1 here getting his bike in March, followed by dealers and other customer bikes the rest of 2023. And mine is delivered earlier then my current expected delivery date of Nov. 2023.

Meanwhile I'm an chilling with my popcorn on the sidelines and putting around on my MXR, working on my '82 Katana project (Officially The World's Saddest Katana 1000) and soon to be putting around on an Ultra Bee. No hand wringing here.

Sacramento ca area. I emailed Stark regarding time frame, wanting facts about using dealer. The dealer sales person gave conflicting info( wanting 425$ set up fee). I got calls from both the dealer manager and Stark next day to straighten out info. Demos to dealer first for training- looks like June or so, followed by earlier pre orders- me August 31, followed by dealer allotment(October or so). If you choose to use dealer route which I will- thought it would be nice way to support the movement- there is no normal set up fees- Stark taking care of. Another good is I can finance via dealership if needed. It sounds like if you are a later order the quickest route is to snag one of the dealer bikes. Yes , not the fairest for pre orders , but seems Stark also wants strong dealer relations. Many will not be able to pay cash straight up or choose not to. Anyway my dealer PCP Sacramento seems excited to be involved. Before your ship date you will configure your bike in case any changes and also choose dealer vs home shipping- no penalty either way.

im set for a sept 23 delivery (fingers crossed). My local dealer, Elite in Loveland CO is a stark dealer, I'll get it shipped and prepped there just to support the home team! I got tired of waiting and just traded in my 21 300xc for the new 23 300xc (all new bike) just to help with the wait...if the SV is late then I still have a new bike for this season coming up! I am concerned about range / my use case and no elec Moto is ever going to complete the CO 500 so I've come to the conclusion that I won't trade in one of my ice bikes and that the wife is going to have to accept 1 more bike in the garage!
