Significantly more protection than the OEM plate. Protects the shock linkage and much higher up the front of the bike.

Stock gearing all around. I have the same chain on both bikes, which I'd have to double check what the exact model is but they were sealed chains, I believe x-rings but I'll have to look to be sure. I agree the 13 should certainly help, and is a popular change with many MX guys.

2,115 to be exact. Wife’s bike is substantially better at 1,900 miles, not sure why. Could be since hers is lowered the chain lives in a more desirable angle? I did have mine in the sand dunes for a couple of rides but I’d be surprised if that accelerated the wear that much.

You probably did, but be sure to check with @ayden_kry first. I don’t think they have their entire Alta inventory listed on eBay.

FYI we found out MX/MXR shocks are not interchangeable without modification to the subframes for reservoir clearance due to the upper shock mounting points being machined in the bulkheads at different locations.

At 15k I think a few owners are questioning if maybe they should cut ‘em loose and reap the benefits of this market. My wife let me know in no uncertain terms that her bike will not be sold unless I want to look for a new place to live :LOL:. I feel it’s the over seas buyers that are driving...

The center wear rail was pretty much gone, I’ll take a comparison shot next to a new one. I started to notice more chain noise which made me take a closer look. Probably should have replaced them a little while ago. Interestingly, my wife’s bike only has 200 less miles and look much better...

:) Probably could have stretched it out a little longer, but it’s an MX bike, so they typically get serviced more often....:LOL:
