Indeed. Low adoption rate, bad standards (too open to interpretation) that led to the handshake not happening in many cases. So in short, it's a bad standard.

No secret here: I worked at Tesla where I was in charge of the charging systems, including integrating the CHAdeMO into the Model S.

I do know that standard quite well for having worked on it in a previous life. And while I am not interested personally, I can't speak for other members.

Prove that it works and then we can discuss, although CHAdeMO is a terrible setup in my opinion.

That was only true of the first 50 units sold. We switched to 10mm after that.

The way weight is calculated between brands is not common: a 5 weight motul will be different than a 5w belray for instance. Unless you can get the WP oil (difficult without being a WP specific dealer), I recommend to whatever brand and stick to it until the end of your road.
