Curious to know, is it possible to remove and replace electronic chips from the BCU without detaching the BCU from the top cover?

I'm from Israel. Renthal and Protaper dominate the handlebar's market here. Got one of the taller bars (called Protaper KX high). Will install this weekend.

I use my Alta for Enduro / trail / rocks only. I finish the rides with about 40-50% battery left (2-3 hours rides). I wish I did not have to carry this "unusable weight" with me. Slow technical rides (even the hardest Enduro) are quite easy on the battery. We rarely exceed 30 kmh.

Managed to break my EX's handlebar. The stock one is Neken R00182. I won't be able to find it locally. Any recommendations for a Rental or Protaper? These are everywhere. I like the geometry of the stock handlebar, so it shoudn't be too far off. Thanks.

Incredible work. Thanks for sharing! Friend of mine converted a Honda CRF250 to electric, using a QS motor and Votol controller. We ride together (with my Alta). These high quality conversions are great.

Here you will find previous fw versions. Look for one with an older DCCP version - https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/firmware-downloads-all-released-versions.1641/ I also use Rashid's method, and suggest you flash only the DCCP via the loader tab.

To update / re-flash the DCCP, you need to flash an older fw and than re flash the newer version. If the Multitool recognize the fw as the most updated, it will not re flash it. Just make sure you do it.

Exactly. It does shut off automatically after 15 minutes, so connected the bike to Multitool. It keeps the bike active. Once the bike started to respond, bursts of power helped lower the voltage quicker.

Update - the bike won't run when the battery is 100% charged. when the SOC decreases a bit (to 95-98%), the bike starts responding to throttle inputs until everything is back to normal. that explains why when charging to 100% the bike is not responsive, but when I cut the charge process before...
