That did the trick Mark.....Thanks. After loading the firmware upgrade it threw a motor timing fault. I ran the timing program and it seems snappier on the throttle and maybe picked up some additional torque.

Trying to update SM firmware to 1.3.1 and it just hangs on searching for target? Anyone experienced this and if so how did you "jump start" it?

Will installing the MX or MXR firmware make any diff?

Does the SM firmware kick into a reserve or reduced power mode sooner the the EX, EXR, MX and MXR? Seems my MXR (don't have any longer) would operate at top performance right down tp the last bar. My SM warning light kicks on and power reduces with a few bar left(?).
