Is MXR & EXR Rear Shock The Same

The external body of the shock is the same between MXR and EXR, but the valving is vastly different. The EXR has a 5.4kg/mm spring stock, and the MXR has a 6.0kg/mm spring stock. The shock springs are interchangeable. I put the stock 6.0 spring from my MXR on my EXR (since im running a 6.4kg/mm...

    When is charging done??

Welcome to the best riding of your life! After you plug the bike in and start the charging cycle, you can either leave the key in or turn the key to off and then take the key out. In both cases, the charge cycle will continue until either 1) you flip the red switch closed on the right...

Show me the pics of your most favorite bike!

Went to State Fair MX for the first time yesterday. The main track there has some nice booters for me to test out supercross suspension on my MXR. Also brought out the EXR to rip around on, but the suspension is way too soft to really jump anything safely so i mainly focused on railing ruts and...

Cone valve wp forks on an Alta

The common misconception about suspension is that buying "A-Kit" components means you instantly have better suspension. Not always true. For example, you can install CV's that are not set up properly for your skill level and type of riding and they will feel worse than the stock stuff. I ran...

    How do we reflash firmware?

The firmware upload process either fails in the middle of the process or is fully successful. I have yet to see a case where firmware successfully uploads to the bike but the firmware on the bike get corrupted in some way. On numerous occasions i've seen the firmware upload process fail either...

    How do we reflash firmware?

Your vin isn't showing because you dont have the recommended_fw.json file in the right spot. Its not really required, though, so don't worry about it. The loader tab is much more useful. Based on the mcu firmware versions listed in your loader tab, I can tell you already have 1.5.1 RC1 loaded...

Show me the pics of your most favorite bike!

Got the MXR a little dirty today after a few days of rain here in SoCal. The combination of my new supercross valving and slippery, rutted conditions made for a good workout to say the least 😄. Any seat time is good. Getting prept for SX Futures again at Anaheim 2. Even spun laps on the super...

Yes you can, so long as you have the older version of the firmware .zip. Why do you want to roll it back, though?

What type of coolant and gear oil do you use?

I got the tip from FortNine on YouTube 8 months ago. Been using gear oil as chain lube ever since. Works great, just make sure you wipe off the excess with a rag or something.
