Interest poll: What kind of charger would get your money on the table?

I think if Stark had any brains in their collective heads, they would figure out a way to include public charging capability to the EX models. I've touted this many times since getting my Alta EXR (and continue to gripe about it on my Varg) that the single largest reason road electrics are...

Varg comfort seat options for trail riding

Finally got some pictures of the seat installed on my bike. I hadn't really had a chance to ride it, but it's pretty nice compared to the stock seat. It took a while to get it back from Renazco, but James did a great job on it. The pictures are with my son sitting on it (5'10", 147lbs for...

Looking for 3d model of upper triple clamp.

Do you have any CAD software? I can completely recommend solidworks student edition (or veteran edition, if you are active/former duty). It takes a bit to learn, but you can mock up just about anything really quick with it.

Varg comfort seat options for trail riding

It's similar to a comfort seat. It's flat and wide on the top, so it supports me pretty well. Foam is wide at the back and narrow up front for cornering. The foam itself is pretty dense, so maybe a bit stiffer than the stock foam, but much thicker, so it doesn't give you the pressure point in...

Varg comfort seat options for trail riding

I just got my new seat from Renazco Racing. I didn't take any pictures of it yet, but was going to 80hp pulls in the bike this afternoon on some pretty bumpy dirt roads and the seat performed really well. I got it in all suede so the grip is really nice. I'm post pictures of it when I get a chance.

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

At that point, why not just use the MX version? It's not like the battery is going to give you any realistic range improvements. 6.5 / 7.2 = 90.27, so you're only getting 9.72% larger battery in the EX. At 35 miles of range on the MX, it goes up to 38.4 miles on the EX. I mean, more range is...

    HANDGUARDS

I was considering bark busters for mine. But wasn't sure how to modify the bar ends to put in the tip bolts. I put them on my Alta, so I would assume it's nearly the same. Haven't had the gumption to go tearing into the new bike (Stark) just yet. I do like the idea of the Enduro guards, even if...

    Phone Screen Repair

Nice! I've attempted to do screens on phones before, but haven't been successful. I'm glad to see this one is pretty straight forward to fix.

    General Rawrr Mantis

I have a Surron Light Bee X in addition to my Stark and Alta. The little ebikes are fun enough (although the quality you kind of have to learn to ignore, unless it's the only one you've ever had). They're great for practicing lots of things related to the bigger bikes (wheelis, stoppies, pivot...

varg charger keeps showing a blue light after plugging it in, and the phone also shows that the bike is charging. But actually there is no charge

Did you also try different outlets? I mean, not trying to sound offensive, but mine has wrapped me up a couple of times with something as silly as the wrong settings or the breaker popped and it just sits there. No fans, no nothing. Says charging on the screen. I love that this bike gives you...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

True. I'm not against swappable. But it does introduce the possibility of errors. There are always tradeoffs. But you also never know if some new tech might come out and flip everything on its head.

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

This is a race team, not so guy in a garage. There's a pretty big reason why manufacturers like Alta and Stark went with fixed batteries instead of swappable types. Namely for durability reasons, but liability as well. You're not out jumping triples on a Surron (or at least not for very many...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but the range isn't going to be very significant. Now, maybe it goes from about 30 miles to 40 miles of offroad (and that's a pretty tall maybe), which, of course there's no gripe in more range. But I wouldn't exactly go selling the farm to switch to one of...

varg charger keeps showing a blue light after plugging it in, and the phone also shows that the bike is charging. But actually there is no charge

This is going to sound dumb, but do you have your sliders turned down below the level of your battery? For instance, if your SOC is 70% but you have max charge set up 50%, it'll give you all of the indications that it's supposed be charging, but no draw and solid lights, and the display saying...

DMV sent me notification I need insurance on the SV, WTF???

Could be DMV put it in the system as motorcycle which is what you need to plate it. If they put it in as dirt bike, then it shouldn't come up in the system as needing insurance.

    Cracked LCD fixed

The general idea with soldering is you can apply heat from two sides of necessary, but you're not supposed to use solder on both (you get voids that way). Usually, if you put on enough flux, it's enough to get the heat transfer and the solder will wick through both sides. I personally don't...

Varg turns on in Neutral, cannot select mode

Mine was showing neutral on the screen and no speedo, but was fully rideable....weird. None of the up/down buttons made a difference. It was like the display was frozen. I power cycled it later and it went back to working like normal.
