    Is 80 HP Bullsh*t ?

If you put a Tesla on an frozen lake, you won't be able to record its 400-1000hp in any telemetry because of its traction control. Same with the Supra. You'd have to strap it to the dyno with racheting tie-downs. The stock Varg develops it max power at 55mph. At that speed you are either...

    Tunability - Subscription or Deception

I think the video that you linked is the one that prompted all the heated discussions on this subject. There hasn't been any news since, perhaps Stark Future realized that they need to improve the base product before they can start charging for the tasty extras. And those extras certainly can't...

    Tunability - Subscription or Deception

This verbiage on the Stark Future website and this YouTube video are almost 2 years old. Folks have discussed it before. https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/sv-software-license-potential-subscriptions-smart-bike-ramifications-etc.2781/ None of this has been implemented yet. Do you have any...

Varg Down on power - Thermal Limiting

If Stark offers such a package from the factory, let's name it Stark Varg Lite, I bet it would have its fans. In fact, they should offer a spare battery with a reduced cell count for $2.5K.

Varg Down on power? (Ride Modes/Power Maps)

Back to the OP question... I think this is normal. Stark must be quietly working on improving traction control. Keeping the bike feeling "terrifying" to ride would have been a mistake. I did the math somewhere, and the conclusion was that using 80hp at speeds below ~66 mph was physically...

Varg Down on power? (Ride Modes/Power Maps)

The topic of this thread seems to have shifted from power maps to thermal limiting. That's okay. We are going to split this thread into two: Varg Down on power? (Ride Modes/Power Maps) <-- This thread (the original thread) Varg Down on power - Thermal Limiting (The new thread)

Varg Down on power - Thermal Limiting

Thanks for sharing. Here are some battery cooling practices and ideas that worked for the Alta. https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/battery-cooling.980/ With the Stark, keeping the battery cool should be be easier, I am thinking, because the cell ends touch the outside of the battery casing...

Varg Down on power - Thermal Limiting

Wow, were you at a motocross sand track in the 80hp mode and able to hold the throttle pinned on all straightaways? And the bike overheated in just 7 minutes? Wow, again. What was the ambient temperature on the days when this happened?

Stark Rear Hand Brake for the Alta?

Definitely down the right side. Your rear caliper is on the right side. And bending the brake hose to go on the left side is too sharp of a bend.

Stark Rear Hand Brake for the Alta?

I bought one. You can use it on the Alta. If you decide to buy the complete kit with the rear caliper you'd just have to install the rear caliper bucket from the Alta because the Alta has a thinner rear axle.

    Varg suspension

The good part is that the rear shock has four clickers. I am optimistic that working with the rebound clickers this bike can be made way more rideable than it comes from the factory. The compression settings appear to be in the ballpark. The spring rates are good for intermediate level...

    Varg suspension

I got my Varg about three weeks ago. I pumped the rear end on the dealer's floor, and it felt like the slowest rebound setting that I have ever experienced. FYI, a suspension that is overdamped in rebound is set up this way primarily for slow riders who hit small bumps not very often. Fast and...

Stark Varg Factory Suspension Default Settings

The table above has the colors of the compression adjusters switched around incorrectly. The Comp High/Low words are correct, but the colors must be ignored. Switch around White and Blue.

clicking sound when fork compresses if you have LHRB

Just bend the banjo fitting at the master cylinder to be more straight. That pipe is very soft and pliable.

New mod today - Added Stark LHRB

EDIT: This would work for a Brembo master cylinder. The Formula master cylinder needs a straight 8mm fitting. A length of 1300 mm is correct.
