    Update with reverse/crawl mode

This worked for me too! I left it in Neutral just for a few minutes, then clicked the Home button, and a message about an "exciting update" popped up. Now I have the latest firmware with the crawl and reverse modes. Thanks!

    Update with reverse/crawl mode

I was on vacation, and the bike was off, so I missed all the cool updates. I have been back for a week, the bike is in standby mode, but the app shows I am still on Firmware 1.0.110. If there is a way to speed up the updates, I would like to know how.

    XTRIG 22mm KTM Compatible?

I do not know about the bearings. But I know you'd have to shim the bottom fork leg clamps because KYB SSS fork legs are thinner than WP 48AER legs. I have done it before, you can order shim stock from McMaster.com. It's pink, IIRC 0.015" thick, but you should verify this yourself.

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

Electric bikes use their energy several times more efficiently. Gas bikes will start this type of race all with 0.3 gallons of gas and retire after 3-4 laps. There will be some who will endo on jumps. It probably won't be very popular.

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

During last year's 24 hours of Starvation Ridge race, I got t-boned by a girl on a 2-stroke. She snuck up on me from behind quietly but very quickly. I didn't hear her at all. I swerved right in front of her to avoid something on the road, which is when she t-boned me. She stayed up, but I went...

Thread Dedicated to Keeping Track of Firmware Versions

Riding Maps/Modes are intertwined with Firmware versions, so I added "Firmware" to the "Riding Maps/Modes" sub-forum, moved this thread there, and pinned it at the top. Feel free to use this thread to post the firmware news and updates. Let me know if you want me to delete any of the early...

    New VARG Software Update.

I have been thinking recently... with all these smooth riders (Roxzen, Lawrence brothers) lugging through rough sections smoothly in taller gears, how can electric bike riders ride in taller gears? The only thing that I came up with is to ride in a lower HP mode. But also have a higher HP mode...

Xtrig PreLoad Adjuster for rear shock

I converted all my Alta WP shocks to Xtrig sag adjusters. I tweaked the rear a few times, found what I liked, and I haven't touched the sag much after that. Having an Xtrig adjuster was well worth it. On the WP you have to take the shock apart though, so I did it as part of revalves. Are you...

Flux Performance - eMX startup from Europe

More and more I am convinced that having a mechanical clutch or a gearbox on an electeric bike is a "crutch" for not having good software.

    Power lights

Just reading about all those green, blue, red, yellow, and magenta lights, either flashing or solid, made my head hurt. Just like the Alta had a few unnecessary physical buttons, the Stark has a few unnecessary status lights. I dislike that the "hibernation" light is a flashing alarming red...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

I really like the built-in solar controller that these power stations have. With Anker, you can plug up to 2,400W of solar panels. And you can fast-charge at 240V while still charging the power station with solar. On a sunny day, I have seen 450W from my one 400W Anker solar panel. That is about...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

You won't blow up your circuit breaker or kill your 2,000W Honda generator if you use the UPS/pass-through mode vs plugging the bike and the power station in both at once. You might kill a 1,000W generator though. I do not think Anker can limit the charging current. I usually see a ~1,700 Watt...

Flux Performance - eMX startup from Europe

AWESOME! Flux really needed help with growing and scaling up. I am excited! Flux Performance, the Slovenian tech leader in electric motorcycles, is thrilled to welcome Marc Fenigstein, formerly co-founder and CEO of Alta Motors, to our advisory board and as an investor! Marc and Alta’s...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

Anker does. But not in the UPS mode. In the UPS mode it is only 110V.

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

One fully charged Stark plus one full charge out of Anker = two full charges to use at the track. I used to bring two fully charged Altas to the track. That was enough riding for me.

Post Your ***STOCK*** Stark Varg Suspension Clicker Settings!

It's worth saying, the clicks are counted as the "number of full clicks out". Screw the clicker adjuster all the way in without forcing it. Then back out until you hear a click. Do not count this click, this is your "click zero". I count only FULL CLICKS from there on.

Post Your ***STOCK*** Stark Varg Suspension Clicker Settings!

Post Your ***STOCK*** Stark Varg Suspension Clicker Settings in this thread! My ***latest*** settings are in my 3/26/2025 post. I got my Stark over a month ago. The dealer or the factory had a few clickers slightly off, and I so wasted a few practices figuring stuff out. Eventually, I set the...
