MX35 is a pretty early bike, would you be able to take a picture of the coolant cap along with the coolant port near the deltawing? Once I see that picture I can clearly discern between what was used.

There isnt a o-ring that came with that part. It was a single piece.

So you need then the plastic coolant cap.

Do you have an older Alta or a newer Alta? The older bikes used a plastic coolant cap (M22) The R bikes got the red anodized coolant cap which came with this O-ring: O-RING, 19.3MM ID, 2.2MM X-SECTION, NITRILE which the closest is this on McMaster: McMaster-Carr

3.3KW UHF CAN bus chargers The HK series is what is inside the rapid chargers. @ 220VAC you will be charging at 3.3kW (rapid charger spec). As long as the battery "backup" has the right protections and BMS to not drain itself; then the charger will do its thing.

So its a battery back up which charges the bike? Or is an external battery which the charger will plug into?

Its a combination of chain noise and a switching noise coming from the inverter. Both are common noises.

@JW884 that is the right magnet/part.

Within the SM charger it confirms that the power going in is "safe". An update was made to SM charger to make that a bit more flexible. You need to update your charger either at a dealer or try to get multi-tool on the bike...otherwise the only solution is a SM to DCCP swap.

There may be mechanical parts but there are not enough electronics to go around....

BRP. Alta had certain PCBA MFGs to have that bootloader option available. But they were pretty locked down by the software team.

@JW884 DOH....the magnet is meant to indicate the warning. So you dont need the magnet. My bad.

You also need the magnet on the other end which will cancel out the signal. The Asahi Denso kickstand sensor is common on alot of bikes, but liquid has the terminated version. @JW884 you has a PM.

The motor rarely fails as well as the inverter. The battery has been the culprit (early wire-bond tech/process issues) and those have been fixed with a mix of using spare batteries and cannibalized packs. Success? Decent. Based on my data I have seen decent results.
