I assume that accuracy would be influenced by tire size and sprocket size combinations.
I’m not sure what to make of the “odo” number of 131.
Here’s the stats from the Varg phone.

My next guess would be maybe the 1.2.8 firmware was the first version on the MX that tracked mileage on the VCU? I'm not sure when you updated or if you remember how much you've ridden since but if its not that then possible the MX version just doesn't have a proper built-in odometer. And yes it is influenced by the gearing and wheels, won't be too bad but definitely requires some thinking to convert the VCU odometer into a more accurate number.

I suppose it is possible that could be the mileage since the firmware update, but seems too big…?
I guess I’ll watch how it increases, and that should help understand what it means😎

Thought this would be interesting to post as well even though its in early stages, this is a companion website to the app which supports uploading the tracks/recordings (however you want to call it) for visualization. At the moment all the data remains on your local machine and its designed for viewing a single recording at a time. The full page displays a GPS trace of the ride and various charts for the metrics reported by the VCU. Very helpful for those trying to push the limits or further understand how their machine works.

Hola!

Tested the app today. Great stuff!
I also have something to give... Working on an adapter for the iPhone15pro.
It fits perfectly between the brackets. Ther's just a need for a frame around it.

Is the iPhone itself charged by the implemented QI- charger? If it is QI?
i tried it - doesn't look like.

I have an iphone se 2024, and the stark wireless charging pad charges it.
You may have seen it fail to charge because the charging coil is offset to one end.

The Android version is currently pending review by Google, it will hopefully be available for testing after they complete that review. If you'd like to join the Android "closed beta testing" group please visit this page. I'll post an update in this thread when the version is actually approved and available for testing. Additionally there is a new iOS version pending review which includes a bunch of fixes and changes (already integrated into the Android release).

Ok well I suppose it was a bit foolish of me to think that was going to take any time at all, the build has been approved and should be available to those that join the group via the link. I'm not too familiar with the Play Store but I don't believe there is anyway to provide feedback so please feel free to post issues here. There are a few known issues already:
- Connection Problem; most of this is easily fixable, the behavior is just different between ios/android so I haven't had a chance to hit all of these problems. When you first start the app up and approve Bluetooth permissions its possible that no bike/vin will show in the list. You may have to force quit the app and reopen it in this situation.
- Layout Oddities; I've only tested on a old Pixel 3 and the EX Stark phone, but there are various issues with the layout just due to the different ways ios/android handle the various system status and navigation bars. I've made a bit of progress here but I'll try and get everything looking proper on the EX phone since I imagine thats the most common use case.

If you are still interested in testing either version before they get fully released please see the following links:

- Android: Join Test Group
- iOS: Join Test Group

EDIT: looks like to join the android test you need to first join the google group and then access the link above.

I get this when i push the link:

App not available
A testing version of this app hasn't been published yet or isn't available for this account.
If you've been invited to become a tester, make sure you're signed in to the account that was invited to the testing program. If you've been invited to a Google Group as part of the program, make sure you've joined the Group.

do you have plans to make an app for Garmin watches, that would be great
the main thing is to see the charge, speed and distance
thanks for your work 🤝

I'll take a look when I have a chance later this week, I guess Google is weird about some of this stuff.

I thought about doing an Apple watch app since those can use Bluetooth but haven't really played with it at all yet. Eventually I'll get the code for the app open-sourced and then perhaps it'd be easy for someone with a Garmin watch and some developer knowledge to build out something custom.

For those having issues did you manage to join the Google group I linked in the other post? I don't see another setting but I'll look again tonight.

Ok, I believe I've sorted that issue out as Google just defaults to US & UK for closed testing. I opened it up to the entire world so hopefully that lets you all see the app and install it now.

I just successfully installed the app. Had a quick look and was able to connect to the bike and see all data like cell voltage.
When I am off from work I will do some further testing.

yes, super 👍
it works, the only thing is that my humidity was showing with a minus sign, I'll attach a screenshot now
once again, a huge thank you for the app, now when buying a used bike you can check the battery and understand in general what and how, a very useful thing!1000331910.jpg

It would be nice to add information on operation hours and other statistics and of course current maps set. Changing map settings in application is a necessary function. I am even ready to pay for it.
