My estimated delivery just pushed back another 3 weeks
Started at 10th Feb - Deposit Paid
Moved to 17th Feb - I paid full amount 18th Dec
Moved to 4th April when Stark emailed and told me it had moved to “production”
Now is 29th April on Stark site.
The only reason given by Stark Future is supply chain issues.

The website indicates that ordering the EX model today will have a delivery date of May 25th. This doesn't seem very realistic considering how far the deliveries for the first customers have been postponed.

The local dealer was supposed to receive the demo bike in February. I sent an inquiry to see if there are any updates on this matter.

This is just remarkable. Again, more failures and disinformation from Stark / Ekho.

Anton, our interest in the EX is waning and it's time for you to address this. We know neither who nor what to believe.

I just got the email too. Moved from march 13th to April 29th. 47 days back! Total delay of 78 days since what was shown when I paid for the bike in full.
If they are gonna lock features behind a subscription then we should all demand a few years subscription included as compensation for the delay.

I didn't get an email that I could find but my delivery date now shifted for the second time.

Purchased and paid in full: Jan 18th

Original delivery: March 10th
1st delivery date shift: April 10th
2nd delivery date shift: April 29th

This is getting pretty frustrating and difficult to trust any dates they're claiming. Especially when communication/reasoning is limited or non-existent.

It's disappointing to see such issues at launch again, even more so to see Stark does not own it this time either, not communicating clearly to their customers who just see dates pushed back again and again with no end in sight.

Those of us that have have a Varg with a VIN around 5000 and under will be very sympathetic.
I started to document all the promised dates that slipped by many months and all the other drama/growing pains we endured, but I don't like to make epically long posts.
In the end, I got my bike about 2-1/2 years after I paid the deposit, which was over 1-1/2 years after the first promised date.
Obviously, we are not expecting years of delays this time, but months of delays shouldn't surprise anyone.
The good news: It will be worth the wait.

Could someone please remind me of the delivery timeline of the first MX bikes?
Not the first two year delay, but when the production and deliveries started.

I'm trying to divine what would be an ETA of an order placed in May-June.

Stark probably should change their messaging on delivery of new product. Most of the Asian manufacturers don't operate this way and they are generally better at hitting delivery targets than Europeans or Americans. Plus, complex electronic/software/firmware is notorious for delays and unexpected hiccups.

What was odd was I think we got our bikes around the same time and I bought mine through a dealer and I hardly had to wait at all. I guess technically I was waiting but didn't put down a deposit for the prior 2+ years. Agree was worth it either way.

That's true, because by the time I actually got my bike, production was about in full swing and the dealers were already receiving bikes.
But I did get the earlier pricing, which was $1000 less, but then in the fall of last year, they dropped the price by at least $2k
Part of the story is that I was told by Stark I could get it in the middle of the winter, but I voluntarily deferred to spring, and then logistics added a couple months on top of that.
Stark has been very good at teaching us to be patient, we are still waiting for several tuning features that were promised in 2021.

I paid in full for the EX the 14th of February, and my estimated delivery time is the 5th of may, and it didn't change whatsoever, don't have a VIN Still, nothing changed in status, I'm brutally impatient, and I am going to be pretty mad if they delay it any further

this is true. I figured they had a working production line though, so didn't expect their estimates to be trash this time around.
Everything is software/firmware dependent so even if the new or differing parts are correct electrically and mechanically there can still be delays due to programming/testing and integration interfaces. Think of it like expecting Microsoft to hit delivery targets... Months of delays is considered "normal".:lurker:

A little transparency on reasons for delay would be appreciated. If I was in an industry where months of delay was considered normal, then I would adjust my estimates to customers to be more realistic. I'd rather deliver ahead of schedule than continually behind.
