The Ultra Bee is a great choice especially if you are focused on trail riding. The Stark Varg -- depending on how you use it -- is more oriented toward riders focused on MX, Enduro, and Hard Enduro and it competes pretty well with KTM's offerings and price/feature ranges. The Ultra Bee is lighter and lower in cost.

For example I have largely replaced my 2020 KTM 300 2T with my Stark and have not lost a step with the Stark, in fact, it is better in many ways. If your E choice can seamlessly replace your ICE bike or close to it, then that is a win in my book. It means less maintenance and quiet operation and more fun!!

BTW if you are a wrench head -- I kinda am I did all my own work on my ICE bikes -- Stark has a good parts supply system that is a least as good as the Japanese bikes and probably better than most other European brands for US customers at least. I am not sure about Surron parts but if you work on your own bike that might be something to check out. HTH

Well, I had a surron ultra bee. And by the time I changed everything to make it mx ride worthy I spent another cost of a new bike. Even then didn’t compare to Varg. Sold Surron.
