My SM has 3900 miles (commuting) and sounds great. My Other MX/SM has 1400 miles (hard dirt and street miles) and it sounds fine as well.

Any video would help, also mileage of the bike is ideal. I personally have never pulled the motor bearing, and unless the bikes have gone through quite a bit of wear, should be pretty reliable. (Though i would be suspect of Marks replacements since those bikes have probably gone through alot)

So based on the VIN vintage it looks like it definitely left with a BCU that was from a not great vendor.

All BCUs from Liquid have Bootloaders. There expensive.
