    New Alta article, any corrections?

Nice article. The only thing that caught my attention was I do not believe the production bikes have radiators tucked up in there. If I recall there are coolant tubes integrated into the frame that serve to transfer the heat. I might be wrong on that, I’m sure others will chime in.

    Chain Slider failures

I wonder if any other retail owners have more miles than you? We should have a “high mileage club” thread....

    Chain Slider failures

You don’t think that the support they added in that drawing would be adequate? That looks to be about right where we both put our rubber blocks. They are listening!

Throttle tube / ODI Lock-on grips?

At this point Alta is the only option. @Fod might have taken one apart. If I recall correctly he had to replace the assembly.

    2019 / 2020 wish list

:ROFLMAO: I hear that! I only put mine on the center stand when I'm working on it, any other time it's the triangle. If Promoto ever does a kick stand for one of these I'll probably get one of those to be even lazier yet...

An Open Petition to Alta to let us create our own maps (and to modify Map 3)

Totally reasonable and really the only way I could see them letting us adjust things.

Owner's Review 2019 Alta EXR Ride Review: Midnight ride under the stars.

I've done the same, I have a couple acres with a lot of trees which are forever dropping limbs, and now I can ride around, grab a hold of one and drag them to my burn piles. I'm being productive, see... totally worth it!

    Interesting program for battery noobs

If you really don’t know much behind the science of current battery technology like myself (and you have Netflix), than you may find this show interesting. Wife's first ride didn't go well — what parts do I need?

Obviously it’s totally up to you, but a helicoil is a solid repair with all the strength of the original thread should you change your mind.

    2019 / 2020 wish list

Someone with some other bikes in their garage please take some measurements to show that the ground clearance of this bike is any less than anything else. Not to the bottom of the footpegs, which we all agree stick down significantly farther, but to the bottom of the frame. When comparing my...

    Best Alta Generator

Make up one of the highly controversial two 120 to one 240 adapters and keep starting and stopping them until you get them out of phase and whoola! Honestly I have no idea if that would work that way, but it sounded good.
